In remembrance of the great contributions of the female general Nang Han, who successfully repelled invaders from the North and preserved peace for the village, the Nang Han Festival 2024 will take place from March 23rd to 24th in Muong Trai commune, Muong La district.

The festival program consists of two parts: The ceremonial part begins at 8:00 AM on March 23rd (corresponding to the 14th day of the 2nd lunar month) at the Nang Han Church (Dan Lanh field area). The festive part... Starting at 2 PM on March 23rd,
Activities include: Art program; competitions in games such as crossbow shooting, throwing the ball, stilt walking, blindfolded duck catching; cultural performance competition; booth display and culinary competition; and boat rowing competition.
Numerous tourists and local people participated in the Nang Han Festival in 2023.
This is the second year that Muong Trai commune has organized the Nang Han Festival with many unique and attractive activities. It is an opportunity to remind future generations to always be aware of and remember their roots, to remember the contributions of the heroic female general Nang Han, to preserve and promote the cultural identity of the ethnic group, and to unite in building a more prosperous and beautiful village.
