To commemorate the great contributions of the female general Nang Han who defeated the Northern invaders and kept peace in the village, from March 23 to 24, in Muong Trai commune, Muong La district, the Nang Han Festival 2024 will take place.

The festival program consists of 2 parts: The ceremony starts at 8:00 a.m. on March 23 (February 14 of the lunar calendar) at Nang Han Church (Dan Lanh Field). starting from 2:00 p.m. on March 23,
with activities: Art program; game competitions: crossbow shooting, throwing shuttlecock, walking on stilts, blindfolded duck catching; art competition; booth display and culinary competition; boating competition.
Many tourists and people in the commune participated in the 2023 Nang Han Festival.
This is the second year that Muong Trai commune has organized the Nang Han Festival with many unique and attractive activities. It is an opportunity to remind the younger generations to always be aware of and remember their roots, remember the merits of the heroic female general Nang Han, preserve and promote the cultural identity of the nation, and unite to build the Muong village to be more and more prosperous and beautiful.
