The Quynh Nhai eco-tourism area has invested in many new facilities to serve tourists.

Mr. Lo Thanh Thuy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Nhai District, said: To ensure the conditions for welcoming tourists during the April 30th and May 1st holidays, Quynh Nhai District has conducted inspections of facilities, food safety and hygiene, and fire prevention and control at accommodation establishments, restaurants, and hotels in the area. At the same time, plans have been made to ensure security, order, and traffic safety before, during, and after the holidays; and efforts have been intensified to promote and attract tourists from within and outside the province.

Currently, Quynh Nhai district has 8 tourist accommodation establishments, including 1 hotel, and the rest are guesthouses, homestays, and other types of tourist accommodation. According to the district's forecast, the number of tourists visiting and experiencing the area during the April 30th and May 1st holidays this year will increase significantly. Many accommodation establishments in the district have already received bookings for rooms and tours from the end of March 2024.

The Quynh Nhai eco-tourism area comprises a complex of facilities, including a boat dock, a brocade flower garden, a heart-shaped island, an orchard, and the Bon hot spring, attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists. Here, visitors can experience the majestic beauty of nature on the Son La hydroelectric reservoir with its picturesque islands, participate in activities such as feeding fish, enjoy unique Thai ethnic cultural performances, swim in the river, go boating, and savor Da River fish, smoked buffalo meat, free-range chicken, and local pork.

Mr. Dang Quang Giau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quynh Nhai Aquaculture and Ecotourism Cooperative, said: "Currently, the cooperative has 3 community houses with a capacity of 30-50 people per room; 2 restaurants serving local cuisine; and 3 cruise ships for lake tours. To meet the entertainment needs of tourists, we have added traditional boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, with a total of 20 boats, and invested in additional check-in points on the Heart Island tourist area, along with other amenities such as a swimming beach, floating houses, a water park, and services like boating and fishing experiences. This promises to be an attractive destination for tourists.

At Trung Kien Resort, Quynh Nhai Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd. has focused on investing in facilities and restaurants to provide tourists with the best possible experience. Mr. Pham Van Doanh, the company's director, said: "We have added more restaurant staff and partnered with performing arts groups from several neighboring communes to serve tourist groups who wish to enjoy local cuisine and culture when visiting Quynh Nhai. At the same time, we have maintained and added more life jackets to the three boats carrying tourists on the lake. Currently, Trung Kien Resort has 10 bungalows, 25 hotel rooms, and 2 communal rooms with a capacity of 30-40 people."
