The art program “Son La – Northwest Epic” was staged with 3 chapters, including: Dien Bien’s heroic spirit; Uncle Ho’s immense love and Son La greeting a new day. The program was performed by singers, actors of the Provincial Music and Dance Theater and mass art troupes in the city.

The actors brought a comprehensive art program, including special singing, dancing and music performances that were elaborately staged, recreating the heroic history of the Dien Bien Phu campaign, which "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world", helping the audience imagine a time of bombs and smoke with the hardships and heroic sacrifices of the previous generation; praising the glorious Party, beloved Uncle Ho, General Vo Nguyen Giap, celebrating the renewal of Son La. The program attracted a large audience and people in the city to watch and cheer.
