On May 6th, the Son La Provincial Military Command held a ceremony to inaugurate and unveil a project commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
The road project connecting the K4 warehouse cluster, Transport Platoon, 1st Infantry Battalion with the Son La city training ground was started in May 2022, with the Provincial Military Command as the investor. The project is designed according to rural road standards level B, and includes the following components: a road over 860m long, stone embankment, fence, drainage system, traffic safety features, lighting system and security cameras, with a total investment of 12 billion VND.

The completed project has broken the monopoly on connecting the K4 military zone with the outside world, ensuring rapid mobility in case of emergencies and guaranteeing absolute security and safety for the military area.
