Meeting of the Subcommittee on Information, Propaganda and Celebration to organize tourism promotion activities and announce the Decision to recognize Moc Chau National Tourist Area

On April 22, 2024, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed Decision No. 1077/QD-BVHTTDL on the recognition of Moc Chau National Tourist Area, Son La Province. In preparation for the announcement ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to organize tourism promotion activities and announced this decision. At the same time, it issued a decision to establish an Organizing Committee for tourism promotion activities, announced the Decision and subcommittees to assist the Organizing Committee.

The meeting approved the document announcing the assignment of tasks to members of the Information, Propaganda and Celebration Subcommittee; discussed and agreed on related contents, ensuring good implementation of assigned tasks on: Information and propaganda before, during and after the event; building scripts and reports on the construction and development process of Moc Chau National Tourist Area; introducing tourism products, potentials and strengths; art programs; mobilizing forces to participate in displaying cultural spaces, introducing tourism products, agricultural products, etc.

The announcement ceremony is expected to take place on May 18 at the 8/5 Square of the Moc Chau District Administrative Center. Within the framework of the announcement ceremony, from May 17-19, there will be many activities to promote and advertise tourism; display and introduce tourism products, OCOP; fruit picking festival; paragliding; organizing tours at Moc Chau National Tourist Area; coordinating the organization of the Vietnam Mountain Bike Race... This is an important occasion to promote and affirm the position and brand of Moc Chau National Tourist Area.
