On May 7th, the Sub-committee on Information, Propaganda, and Ceremonial Activities, responsible for promoting tourism and announcing the Decision recognizing Moc Chau as a National Tourist Area, held a meeting to implement its tasks.

On April 22, 2024, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed Decision No. 1077/QD-BVHTTDL recognizing Moc Chau National Tourist Area in Son La province. In preparation for the announcement ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan for organizing tourism promotion and marketing activities and announcing this decision. Simultaneously, a decision was issued establishing the Organizing Committee for tourism promotion and marketing activities, the announcement of the Decision, and subcommittees to assist the Organizing Committee.
The meeting approved the notification document regarding the assignment of tasks to members of the Information, Propaganda, and Ceremonial Subcommittee; discussed and agreed on related contents, ensuring the successful implementation of assigned tasks including: Information and propaganda before, during, and after the event; developing scripts and documentaries on the construction and development process of Moc Chau National Tourist Area; introducing tourism products, potential, and strengths; artistic programs; mobilizing forces to participate in cultural space exhibitions, introducing tourism products, agricultural products, etc.
The official announcement ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 18th at the 8/5 Square in the Moc Chau District Administrative Center. Within the framework of the ceremony, from May 17th to 19th, numerous activities will be held to promote tourism; display and introduce tourism products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products; a fruit-picking festival; paragliding; organize tours within the Moc Chau National Tourist Area; and co-organize the Vietnam Mountain Bike Race… This is an important opportunity to promote and affirm the position and brand of the Moc Chau National Tourist Area.
