Joint meeting between the Military Command of Yen Chau District and the Military Command of Xieng Kho District in 2022.

         The Military Commands of Yen Chau and Xieng Kho districts provided information on the economic and social development and social order and safety of the two districts. In accordance with the memorandum of understanding, the Military Commands of the two districts have effectively fulfilled their advisory role to the local Party committees and authorities, coordinating closely with relevant departments, organizations, and forces to successfully implement local defense and military tasks. They have consolidated and built strong district armed forces, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

           At the conference, the Military Commands of the two districts signed a memorandum of understanding for 2023, focusing on the following contents: The two units will coordinate with the border guard forces of both sides to strengthen cooperation in protecting the border and boundary markers, ensuring political security in the border areas. They will facilitate the regular exchange of information and resolution of issues related to border security between the two districts by militia and self-defense forces and other forces stationed in the border area, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and developing border.
