On May 9th, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to prepare for tourism promotion and marketing activities and to announce the decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognizing Moc Chau as a National Tourist Area.
Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh delivered a speech at the meeting.
Attending the meeting were Comrade Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Thi Bich Thao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department; Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and members of the Organizing Committee. The meeting was broadcast online to Moc Chau and Van Ho districts.

At the meeting, delegates heard reports from the subcommittees on the preparations for organizing tourism promotion activities and the announcement of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism's decision recognizing Moc Chau National Tourist Area. Accordingly, to date, the installation of the stage and exhibition booths for tourism products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) has been directed; the stage design has been completed; the site for stage construction and installation has been surveyed and prepared; and the framework and detailed scripts for the artistic program of the announcement ceremony have been developed. A draft script for a video clip showcasing the construction and development of Moc Chau National Tourist Area has been completed; plans, programs, scripts, and rehearsals for the artistic program have been organized. Meetings have been held with the UNESCO Hanoi Club; and connections have been made with several businesses, newspapers, and television stations to invite them to participate in a FAM (Federal Association Meeting) to conduct surveys, assessments, and provide advice on developing thematic tours.
Comrade Dinh Thi Bich Thao, Head of the Information, Propaganda, and Ceremonial Subcommittee, presented a report at the meeting.

Preparations for the main activities have been completed, including: the conference themed "Orientation for the Green and Sustainable Development of Moc Chau National Tourist Area"; the exhibition of cultural spaces, introduction of tourism products, OCOP products, and ethnic cuisine; experiential activities such as sightseeing and tourism in Moc Chau National Tourist Area; the fruit-picking festival; paragliding and the VTV Cup 2024 mountain bike race… Financial, reception, and logistical arrangements; inviting delegates; information, publicity, and ceremonial work are being organized and implemented, ensuring all contents are in accordance with the plan.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh requested that the subcommittees implement the assigned tasks according to the plan; prepare well the necessary conditions regarding infrastructure, equipment, and other requirements for the announcement ceremony and related activities, ensuring solemnity, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness; develop diverse and attractive scenarios, programs, and content for activities that are appropriate to the actual situation, showcasing the unique tourism potential, distinctive cultural identity, and local products; effectively implement propaganda and promotion work before, during, and after the announcement ceremony; and reward organizations and individuals who have contributed to the recognition of Moc Chau Tourist Area as a National Tourist Area. At the same time, he emphasized the need to strengthen coordination and information sharing between the subcommittees and localities, promptly resolving difficulties during the implementation process.
