On the evening of May 17th, at the 8/5 Square in the Moc Chau District Administrative Center, the Provincial People's Committee held a dress rehearsal for the ceremony announcing the decision to recognize Moc Chau as a National Tourist Area.

Attending the general rehearsal were: Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Thao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department; Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and members of the Organizing Committee.

The ceremony to announce the decision recognizing Moc Chau as a National Tourist Area will take place on the evening of May 18th with the following activities: Screening of a documentary about the construction and development process of Moc Chau National Tourist Area; announcement and presentation of the decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognizing Moc Chau as a National Tourist Area.

In particular, the art program themed "Moc Chau, Van Ho - The Beautiful Highlands" will feature nearly 450 artists and performers from the Provincial Song and Dance Theatre; students from Son La College; and performers and key figures in the amateur arts scene of Moc Chau district and Son La city. The program will be broadcast live on STV, Son La Radio and Television Station, and rebroadcast on the Son La online newspaper.

Speaking at the dress rehearsal, Comrade Trang Thi Xuan acknowledged the efforts of the event organizing committee and the artists and actors. She also requested that the organizing committee and the program team continue to coordinate, unify, and refine several aspects to ensure the announcement ceremony is solemn, safe, and successful, leaving a lasting impression on the people and tourists.
