The delegation from the People's Councils of the provinces of Laos included: Comrade Chom Si Lat Ta Na Pan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Bokeo Province; Thong Si Sau Si Phom, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phong Saly Province; and Kham Phon Phim Ma Chan, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Udom Xay Province.
Welcoming the delegation were: Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thai Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial People's Council committees; and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

In an atmosphere of warm solidarity and special friendship, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh warmly welcomed the delegation from the People's Councils of Bokeo, Oudomxay, and Phongsaly provinces to visit and work in Son La. He also informed them of some outstanding achievements in the fields of politics, socio-economics, national defense, security, and social order and safety during the first four months of 2024; the results of cooperation between Son La province and the northern provinces of Laos in various fields over the past period; and expressed the hope that in the future, cooperation between Son La province and the provinces of Laos will continue, contributing to promoting the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and between Son La province and the northern provinces of Laos.

The delegation from the People's Councils of Bokeo, Oudomxay, and Phongsaly provinces expressed their gratitude for the thoughtful and respectful reception from the leaders of Son La province and congratulated Son La province on its achievements in various fields. They also highly appreciated Son La province's assistance to these provinces in the past and hoped that Son La province would continue to pay attention to and cooperate with them in all fields, contributing to deepening the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Laos and promoting the close friendship and solidarity between the two provinces.
