The 8th Plum Picking Festival in Moc Chau District in 2024 continues to aim at the message of "Producing clean agricultural products associated with environmental protection"; at the same time, it is an activity to preserve and promote the cultural identity of Moc Chau ethnic groups. From early morning, a large number of people and tourists flocked to Na Ka plum valley in Pa Khen 1 village, Moc Chau Farm town to participate in the festival. This is considered the most beautiful plum valley in the North, surrounded by majestic and poetic mountain ranges with an area of ​​over 1,000 hectares.

Amidst the enthusiastic cheers of the people and visitors, in just 3 minutes, 4 members of the team from Moc Chau Farm town picked the most with 40.5 kg of plums...

The organizing committee weighed the number of plums that the competing teams had picked.

Equally exciting was the fruit-eating contest using the plums that the teams had just harvested. Each team would select one representative to participate in the plum-eating challenge, with rules such as: the contestant must demonstrate an appealing manner while eating the plums, and minimal fruit flesh should be left on the pit. In the fruit display competition, the highlight was the ripe red plums combined with other characteristic agricultural products of Moc Chau, skillfully arranged to form a tourism map or famous tourist sites on the Moc Chau plateau...

At the festival, the organizing committee honored 9 exemplary farmers and cooperatives who have contributed to building the Moc Chau plum brand.
