As part of the activities of the 5th Yen Chau District Mango Festival in 2024, on the afternoon of June 8, at the Kha Village Cultural House yard, Sap Vat Commune, a folk game competition took place. This is one of the new contents of the festival, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch and cheer.

The competition had 100 athletes from 9 communes and towns participating in games: stick pushing, tug of war, and picking mangoes on stilts.

In pole vaulting, athletes participate in two events: men's pole vaulting and women's pole vaulting.

For the mango picking competition, each team has 4 members, including 2 men and 2 women. Within 3 minutes, the team that goes the fastest and picks up the most mangoes will win.
Dramatic tug of war.
The tug of war competition was exciting and received enthusiastic cheers from the audience. Each team had 10 athletes, including 5 men and 5 women.

Athletes compete with a spirit of solidarity and honesty, giving the audience exciting, thrilling and thrilling competitions.
At the end of the game competition, in the men's pole pushing event, Vieng Lan commune won first prize; Chieng Pan commune won first prize in the women's pole pushing event; in the mango picking event, the team from Chieng Khoi commune won first prize; in the tug of war event, with good physical strength and technique, the team from Chieng Pan commune excelled over the other first prize winning teams.
