Bac Yen district is a mountainous district with a fragmented terrain and a relatively rich cover, majestic natural landscapes, cool climate all year round, and diverse ecosystems. In the district, there are many beautiful landscapes that can be developed into attractive tourist attractions such as: Ta Xua Cloud Paradise; the tour route of Camel Point, Dolphin Point, and Lonely Tree; Dinosaur's Back, Hang Dong Commune, A Phu Couple Cave, Hong Ngai Commune; Khe Ho Ancient Stone Beach, Hang Chu Commune; Be Village Ancient Tea Hill, Ta Xua Commune; Na Pa Sen Lake on the mountain, Hua Nhan Commune; Chieng Sinh Cave, Phieng Con Commune, Su Dan Cave, Chieng Sai Commune; terraced fields, Xim Vang Commune; Pu Nhi pine hill and Tan Ban hot mineral spring, Phieng Ban Commune, etc.

Bac Yen district is a land with potential and advantages in tourism, community tourism, resort tourism, especially eco-tourism. It is a long-standing home to 7 ethnic groups, each with its own culture, festivals, customs and practices. In recent years, the Party Committee and the government of Bac Yen district have paid great attention to, directed, and identified tourism as a new field associated with the general socio-economic development of the locality. Therefore, the district has paid special attention to the work of propagating and promoting the potential of community tourism in the area to raise awareness of sectors, levels and people about the position and role of tourism development.

As a large force operating in many fields, the youth union members of Bac Yen district always perceive tourism as a driving force for comprehensive economic and social development, security and political stability of the locality. In response to this reality, the Youth Union at all levels has done a good job of propaganda, mobilization and orientation for generations of union members and young people to join hands in propagating, promoting and developing tourism. Thereby, it has contributed to introducing jobs to help the district's youth have the motivation to develop the economy and strive to get rich in their own homeland.

Realizing the potential strengths of the locality in tourism development. The Youth Union in the whole district has proactively advised on propaganda and mobilized young people to participate in promoting and developing tourism in the district. The youth have built and established 01 Agricultural and Ecotourism Cooperative, 03 homestay models owned by young people, built 02 art troupes serving tourism, deployed the construction of 01 clean vegetable growing model, deployed the construction of 01 digital handbook introducing tourism in Bac Yen district, built an experiential tourism route and 01 tour guide team for tourists participating in experiential tourism. 02 youth volunteer teams propagate environmental protection in participating and developing tourism, 02 youth volunteer teams collect waste, build incinerators at tourist destinations in the district. The whole district has over 50 youth union members directly participating in the field of tourism development. Along with that, it is proposed to annually organize cloud hunting festivals, ethnic festivals, cultural and sports activities to attract tourists and promote the image and beauty of traditional culture of ethnic groups in the district.
