On August 13th and 14th, at the Nam Lanh Border Guard Post and the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Post, the Son La Border Guard Command coordinated with local authorities to organize many practical activities to improve the dissemination and education of laws to the people and students in the border area.

On August 13th, the Nam Lanh Border Guard Station displayed legal books and disseminated the Vietnamese Border Guard Law at the "National Security Protection Day" 2024 organized by the Sop Cop District People's Committee. They also participated in activities such as volleyball, tug-of-war, and stick-pushing competitions between the people and armed forces in the district; organized exchange seminars; visited and presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances; and many other meaningful activities.
Meanwhile, in Yen Chau district, the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Youth Union and Women's Association of Long Phieng commune, organized a summer activity and life skills training program for young people in 2024 at Pha Cung village, Long Phieng commune. During the program, the units conducted awareness campaigns on child sexual abuse; and on preventing injuries such as drowning, electric shock, and human trafficking among children. In addition, the units organized games such as tug-of-war, sack racing, and a 100m race, with over 400 Youth Union members, Women's Association members, and students participating.

These activities by officers and soldiers of the Son La Border Guard and other units contribute to raising legal awareness, strengthening the confidence of cadres, Party members, and the people in the glorious traditions of the nation, the leadership role of the Party; the achievements of the country; the great role and strength of the people in the cause of national liberation, building and protecting the Fatherland; and arousing and promoting the beautiful aspects of national culture. At the same time, they strongly encourage and promote the role of the people in standing side by side with the Border Guard to firmly protect national territorial sovereignty and border security.
