The Friendly Government model, chaired by the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission in coordination with district Party committees, has been developed and deployed in communes and wards in the province after 1 year of implementation, bringing about many positive changes in the operations of the current State agencies. Strongly innovating the working style of grassroots authorities, building a working style of "Respecting the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people and being responsible to the people" is the initial effectiveness of the model.
Piloted in July 2023, from 3 pilot models, the friendly government model has now been replicated in 33 communes. The model has received the approval, response and appreciation of officials, party members and people, creating a positive change in enhancing the sense of responsibility of serving the people of the grassroots government system. , especially building the style of "Respecting the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people and being responsible to the people".
On August 10, 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1612/QD-UBND promulgating the set of criteria for recognizing communes, wards and towns that have achieved the model of "friendly government" in Son La province.
