Promoting digital transformation in promoting OCOP products
Implementing Resolution 08-NQ/TU dated January 21, 2023 of the Son La Provincial Party Committee on concentrated, sustainable development of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, applying high technology to 2025, with a vision to 2030, up to now, this locality has achieved certain results in digital transformation in agriculture.
Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Son La province, said: In order to effectively implement digital transformation in the agricultural sector, especially the development of OCOP products in the area, the Department of Information and Communications of Son La province has deployed synchronous solutions. Up to now, Son La province has over 33,700 agricultural production households participating in organizing training and digital skills training; more than 35,300 households have created accounts on e-commerce platforms. Son La has supported bringing products to e-commerce platforms with thousands of orders traded on the platform. Son La's OCOP products are put on e-commerce platforms. Information of more than 100 products of production and business units has been updated on the trading platform and the origin and origin of Son La province's agricultural products have been traced (sannongsansonla.vn).

In addition, many enterprises, cooperatives and farming households operating in the agricultural sector, producing and processing agricultural products have proactively applied science and technology, especially digital technology in production processes, cultivation and aquaculture. Using the internet, social networks to promote, sell online, participate in e-commerce platforms, expand the market to supply to domestic and foreign markets or export.
Currently, Son La province has thousands of community digital technology teams in villages and hamlets; community digital technology teams are led by youth union members who are knowledgeable and proficient in using and applying information technology. Community digital technology teams are responsible for supporting local people in using and applying digital platforms (online public services; participating in e-commerce platforms; traceability, e-wallets...).

Son La synchronizes digital transformation solutions in agriculture
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of Son La province informed: To implement digital transformation in agriculture, Son La province has directed the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to continue to coordinate with the Department of Cooperative Economy and Sorimachi Company Limited to organize online training courses via Zoom application for businesses and cooperatives in the province to use digital transformation software.
After 3 years of implementing Resolution 08, up to now, Son La province has had 4 cooperatives participating in using Facefarm production diary software and Waca Accounting; 02 cooperatives participating in using digital transformation software for typical agriculture (Coop.66 group); 05 cooperatives participating in using software to monitor and respond to agricultural cooperative policy information. Up to now, only 01 cooperative (Hoang Son Cooperative - Moc Chau district) is officially using FaceFarm production diary software; 04 cooperatives (Ngoc Lan Cooperative, Quynh Nghia Cooperative - Mai Son district; Hoang Son Cooperative - Moc Chau district; Huoi Mo Cooperative - Song Ma district) are being guided and supported by Sorimachi Company Limited to use Facefarm production diary software and Waca Accounting.
Deploy and maintain 195 export growing area diary accounts on the farmdiary.online system. 07 growing area diary accounts in the crop sector on the crop database system (csdltrongtrot.mard.gov.vn). Effectively deploy the Digital Transformation Solution software in implementing and managing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program in Son La province (https://sohoaocop.vn).

Using the forest change update software (FRMS), providing 13 user accounts, logging into the software (01 provincial account and 12 district accounts) to update and report forest and forestry land changes to serve the annual forest status announcement in the province. Providing and managing more than 300 accounts for the forest and forestry land monitoring system on tablets to collect data to serve the forest change monitoring work at the grassroots level.
Using the "citywork" software, 27 user accounts were assigned, logging into the software (07 accounts operating in the province and 10 accounts operating in the district) to serve the customer management work in the centralized rural water supply in Son La province. Result: providing and managing more than 18,000 household connection systems.
In the province, there are currently many businesses, cooperatives, and people who have proactively applied digital transformation in agricultural production.

Support traceability (labeling) in accordance with Resolution No. 76/2018/NQ-HĐND dated April 4, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council on policies to support the development of production, processing, and consumption of safe agricultural products and food in Sơn La province in the period 2018-2021; Resolution No. 128/2020/NQ-HĐND dated February 28, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council on policies to encourage investment in agriculture and rural areas in Sơn La province for 72 enterprises and cooperatives in the province. In 2024, in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology, propose and issue a Plan for implementing the "Project on deploying, applying, and managing the traceability system" in Sơn La province in 2024 (Plan No. 136/KH-UBND dated May 7, 2024), which is expected to support 62 agricultural products/69 products and goods in need of building a traceability system.
Coordinate with the Plant Protection Department to build a database of growing area codes across the province for 214 growing area codes. The database provides full information on area, output, harvest time, export market of each growing area code. Thereby ensuring traceability of products, providing full information to individuals and businesses in exporting agricultural products of the province.
