Promoting digital transformation in the marketing of OCOP products.
In implementing Resolution 08-NQ/TU dated January 21, 2023, of the Son La Provincial Party Committee on the development of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in a concentrated, sustainable manner, applying high technology until 2025, with a vision to 2030, the locality has achieved certain results in digital transformation in agriculture.
Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Son La province, said: To effectively implement digital transformation in the agricultural sector, especially the development of OCOP products in the province, the Department of Information and Communications of Son La province has implemented a comprehensive set of solutions. To date, Son La province has over 33,700 agricultural households participating in training and digital skills development; more than 35,300 households have created accounts on e-commerce platforms. Son La has supported the listing of products on e-commerce platforms with thousands of orders transacted. Son La's OCOP products have been listed on e-commerce platforms. Information on more than 100 products from production and business units has been updated on the trading platform and traceability system for agricultural products in Son La province (sannongsansonla.vn).

Furthermore, many businesses, cooperatives, and farming households operating in the agricultural sector and processing agricultural products have proactively applied science and technology, especially digital technology, in their production, cultivation, and aquaculture processes. This includes using sensor equipment to monitor and assess the quality of soil, water, and air in growing areas, controlling nutrition, etc., to improve product quality and value. They also utilize the internet and social media for online promotion and sales, participate in e-commerce platforms, and expand their markets to supply both within and outside the province, or for export.
Currently, Son La province has thousands of community digital technology groups in villages and hamlets; these groups are primarily composed of young people who are knowledgeable and proficient in using and applying information technology. The community digital technology groups are responsible for supporting local residents in using and applying digital platforms (online public services; participation in e-commerce platforms; traceability, e-wallets, etc.).

Son La province is implementing synchronized digital transformation solutions in agriculture.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of Son La province: To implement digital transformation in agriculture, Son La province has directed the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to continue coordinating with the Department of Cooperative Economics and Sorimachi Co., Ltd. to organize online training courses via Zoom for businesses and cooperatives in the province to use digital transformation software.
After 3 years of implementing Resolution 08, Son La province now has 4 cooperatives participating in using the Facefarm production log software and Waca accounting software; 2 cooperatives participating in using the digital transformation software for typical agriculture (Coop.66 group); and 5 cooperatives participating in using the software for monitoring and responding to agricultural cooperative policy information. To date, only 1 cooperative (Hoang Son Cooperative - Moc Chau district) is officially using the FaceFarm production log software; 4 cooperatives (Ngoc Lan Cooperative, Quynh Nghia Cooperative - Mai Son district; Hoang Son Cooperative - Moc Chau district; Huoi Mo Cooperative - Song Ma district) are being guided and supported by Sorimachi Co., Ltd. in using the Facefarm production log software and Waca accounting software.
Implement and maintain 195 export-oriented crop farming log accounts on the farmdiary.online system. Maintain 7 crop farming log accounts on the crop farming database system (csdltrongtrot.mard.gov.vn). Effectively implement the Digital Transformation Solution software in the implementation and management of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program in Son La province (https://sohoaocop.vn).

Using the Forest Change Monitoring System (FRMS) software, 13 user accounts were provided (1 provincial-level account and 12 district-level accounts) to log in and update and report on forest and forestry land changes, serving the annual forest status publication in the province. More than 300 accounts were provided and managed for the forest and forestry land monitoring system on tablets to collect data for monitoring forest changes at the local level.
Using the "citywork" software, 27 user accounts were created and logged into the software (7 accounts operating at the provincial level and 10 accounts operating at the district level) to manage customers in the rural centralized water supply system in Son La province. The result: over 18,000 household connection systems have been provided and managed.

Support traceability (labeling) in accordance with Resolution No. 76/2018/NQ-HĐND dated April 4, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council on policies to support the development of production, processing, and consumption of safe agricultural products and food in Sơn La province in the period 2018-2021; Resolution No. 128/2020/NQ-HĐND dated February 28, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council on policies to encourage investment in agriculture and rural areas in Sơn La province for 72 enterprises and cooperatives in the province. In 2024, in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology, propose and issue a Plan for implementing the "Project on deploying, applying, and managing the traceability system" in Sơn La province in 2024 (Plan No. 136/KH-UBND dated May 7, 2024), which is expected to support 62 agricultural products/69 products and goods in need of building a traceability system.
In coordination with the Plant Protection Department, a database of planting area codes for the entire province was established, covering 214 planting area codes. This database provides complete information on the area, production volume, harvest time, and export markets for each planting area code. This ensures product traceability and provides comprehensive information for individuals and businesses involved in the province's agricultural exports.
