According to Mr. Le Huy Phong, Vice Chairman of the Yen Chau District People's Committee, along with striving to achieve and surpass the target of consuming and exporting 74,000 tons of fresh fruit this year, the district is paying special attention to preserving the brand and improving the quality and value of its products. Currently, Yen Chau has granted the "Son La Mango" trademark to 9 cooperatives, "Son La Plum" to 5 cooperatives, "Son La Longan" to 3 cooperatives, and has 4 OCOP 3-star products and 1 OCOP 4-star product.
Yen Chau district always focuses on improving the quality, value, and brand image of fresh fruit products for domestic consumption and export.
“Yen Chau district is focusing on directing and promoting the registration and granting of the right to use the Son La trademark for agricultural products. It is guiding cooperatives on the use of the traceability system. Agricultural products are being promoted and sold on e-commerce platforms and digital platforms. The district is determined to maintain the current acreage in existing growing areas, not expanding further, focusing on intensive farming, increasing productivity, improving quality, and investing in technology and science to enhance the value of agricultural products and fruits, ensuring the best quality. The goal is to maintain and elevate the Yen Chau agricultural brand,” Mr. Phong stated.
