Vietnam boasts the world's longest glass pedestrian bridge: Becoming a new tourism icon for Vietnam's mountainous Northwest province.
In 2022, the Bach Long Glass Bridge was certified by Guinness World Records (GWR) as the world's longest pedestrian glass bridge, with a total length of 632 meters.
The Bach Long Glass Bridge is a modernly designed bridge with a total investment of 773 billion VND. The bridge has two 30m high towers, built with sturdy support cables imported from South Korea and drilled 30m deep. The bridge deck is 150m above ground level.
The bridge spans two mountain peaks, with the section crossing the cliff measuring 290m in length and a clearance of 145m above the water. The bridge deck is 2.4m wide, and the section above the cliff is 1.5m wide.

The entire cable car system was imported from South Korea, with each cable bundle containing 7 strands, each 50mm in diameter. The bridge deck uses ultra-strong tempered glass from Saint Gobain, France, consisting of 3 layers and 40mm thick. The bridge is also equipped with an eye-catching lighting system, creating a dazzling effect at night.
The Bach Long Glass Bridge also features a 342-meter-long Skywalk running along the cliffside with a 150-meter-deep gorge. Along the Skywalk, there are two protruding points, 3 meters wide and 5 meters long, allowing visitors to take photos and enjoy panoramic views of the tourist area. At the end of the bridge is the Chim Than Cave (or Muong Mooc Cave) with natural stalactites and stalagmites stretching 400-500 meters.
