After three years of implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU and Resolution No. 08-NQ/TU dated January 21, 2021, of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of agricultural product processing industry in Son La province for the period 2021-2025, with orientation to 2030, Son La province has achieved many outstanding results.
Accordingly, the value of industrial production and agricultural processing in Son La province increased by an average of 8.45% during the 2021-2023 period; attracting investment in 11 large-scale agricultural processing projects, including 7 projects that received new investment approval and 4 projects currently awaiting approval. The agricultural, forestry, and fisheries sector's contribution to the province's overall economic structure in 2023 reached nearly 25%; the average GRDP growth rate for the entire sector during the 2021-2023 period was over 5%, exceeding the Resolution's target by 0.1%; the average production value per hectare of cultivated land increased by 10.44%, achieving the Resolution's target.

At the conference summarizing the three-year implementation of Resolutions No. 06 and 08, dated January 21, 2021, of the Son La Provincial Party Committee held today (August 16), delegates focused on discussing and proposing solutions to address difficulties and obstacles in attracting investors in the agricultural sector, high-tech applications, and industrial zones and clusters in the province; supporting agricultural processing facilities to ensure concentrated and stable raw material areas linked to domestic and international markets; applying science and technology to agricultural production at agricultural product processing facilities; and state management of environmental protection and water resources during production activities.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and proposing solutions to address difficulties and obstacles in attracting investors in the agricultural sector.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that localities need to continue to enhance the role and responsibility of leaders in directing and implementing comprehensive solutions with the highest determination to successfully achieve the goals set forth in Resolutions 06 and 08.
