On the afternoon of August 3, Thuan Chau District Party Committee and Hua Muong District Party Committee held a meeting to share experiences. Attending the meeting, the delegation of Thuan Chau district was led by comrade Nguyen Dac Luc, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the District Party Committee; also attended by comrade Quang Van Dung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the District People's Council and People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.

 

In a friendly atmosphere, representatives of Thuan Chau district leaders and representatives of Hua Muong district leaders informed about some results of implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the first 6 months of 2023; experiences in leadership, direction, and implementation of Party Congress Resolutions at all levels of the two districts.

Over the years, Thuan Chau district has regularly coordinated with Hua Muong district to strengthen the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation in all fields; promote and implement the Minutes of the Talks between Thuan Chau district and Hua Muong district.

From 2021 to present, Thuan Chau district has coordinated with Hua Muong district to survey and support mango growing models, support the implementation of socio-economic development tasks; support the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic for Hua Muong district, with a total value of 650 million VND.

In addition, the two districts have directed agencies, units, communes and towns to step up propaganda and mobilize people to preserve and foster friendly relations; fight against the distorted arguments of hostile forces that sabotage the two Parties and two States and divide the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

At the meeting, Secretary of the District Party Committee Nguyen Dac Luc expressed his joy and welcomed the delegation of Hua Muong district to visit and work. He congratulated the socio-economic development results that Hua Muong district has achieved in the past time. The Secretary of the District Party Committee affirmed: This visit is an opportunity for the two districts to continue to strengthen solidarity, friendship, exchange, learn, cooperate and develop together.

On behalf of Hua Muong district, comrade Vieng Phon Kham Vong Sa emphasized: The exchange meeting helps Hua Muong District Party Committee gain more experience in implementing the Resolution of Party Congresses at all levels and is an opportunity for professional agencies of the two districts to meet, exchange and share experiences in implementing tasks and cooperation results in various fields.

At the conference, the two districts signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the period 2023 - 2025, agreeing on the following cooperation contents: The two sides will continue to coordinate in disseminating to cadres, soldiers and people of each side about the tradition of special solidarity and friendship, comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; between the two provinces of Son La - Hua Phan in general and the two districts of Thuan Chau - Hua Muong in particular. Regularly maintain information exchange, coordinate to solve arising issues; send congratulatory letters on the occasion of the traditional New Year and National Day of the two countries. The two districts hope that after the working trip, the special solidarity and friendship between Thuan Chau and Hua Muong districts will continue to be strengthened and expanded, contributing to fostering the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos to be forever green, forever sustainable and develop together. Coordinate and facilitate working delegations in the fields of culture, sports, information and tourism of the two districts to visit, work and exchange experiences in State management. Create conditions for enterprises in Thuan Chau district, Son La province to grasp information, produce and supply Hua Muong district with plant varieties, livestock and aquatic products, and cooperate in production and business with enterprises in Hua Muong district. Strengthen coordination, information exchange, propaganda and education in many forms, effectively and practically about the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.

The visit and working session of the Hua Muong District Delegation in Thuan Chau District achieved very good results, creating an important driving force to promote the cooperative relationship between the two districts to become increasingly deep, effective, stable and sustainable./.
