(yenchau.sonla.gov.vn) - On August 27th, a delegation from Sop Bau district, Hua Phan province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, led by Lieutenant Colonel Nhong Kham Say Nha Thong Phui, Standing Member of the District Party Committee and Commander of the Sop Bau District Military Command, visited Yen Chau district, Son La province, to congratulate Vietnam on its 79th National Day. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Tong The Anh - Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Council, Mr. Pham Duc Long - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, leaders of the District Party Committee's Organization Department, the District Military Command, and leaders of the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Post.

In an atmosphere of warm solidarity and friendship, Comrade Tong The Anh - Secretary of the District Party Committee - expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from Sop Bau District. The District Party Committee Secretary briefly informed the delegation about some outstanding achievements in the fields of economy, culture and society, national security and defense, and the work of Party building and the political system of Yen Chau District during the first eight months of 2024, as well as the major orientations of the district in the coming years.
During the visit and congratulatory ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nhong Kham Say Nha Thong Phui, Standing Committee Member of the District Party Committee and Commander of the Sop Bau District Military Command, extended his best wishes to the leaders and people of Yen Chau District on the occasion of Vietnam's National Day. He emphasized that over the years, Vietnam's development has always been closely linked to the special solidarity between Laos and Vietnam. In the process of national construction and defense, the relationship between the two countries has been continuously nurtured. This is demonstrated through cooperation in politics, defense and security, investment, education and training, and other fields.
