Due to the impact of storm No. 2, in the past few days, people in Son La province have had to endure many losses due to flash floods. The wrath of nature has taken away many things from the people with many houses collapsed, roads cut off, and the lives of the people here are extremely miserable and difficult. The rain and floods have also caused many teaching facilities to almost stop. When there is not enough food to eat, not enough warm clothes, the dream of conquering letters of the children in the highlands becomes more and more distant.

Witnessing such great losses, the Editorial Board of Vietnam Family Magazine could not help but be moved to organize this charity music night.

Also within the framework of the program, Le Auction House has selected 3 high-quality works of art by artist Bui Tuan Thanh to auction.

Accordingly, the auction atmosphere was extremely exciting and the works were successfully auctioned by new owners. Specifically, the work “Chan trau” was successfully auctioned for 100 million VND; the work “Thuyen dem trang” (Ben trang) was auctioned for 100 million VND and the work “Dan ga” was auctioned for 100 million VND. The total auction amount from the 3 works was: 300 million VND.

All proceeds from the auction of the three works will be sent to the Vietnam Family Magazine fund to be transferred to children at Xim Vang Kindergarten and Primary School.

At the end of the music night, the Organizing Committee received donations of up to 999,999,000 million VND thanks to the contributions of artists, audiences and after auctions of items.

To share some of the difficulties that the children are facing, all donations and sponsored items will be directly handed over by the Organizing Committee to the school and students of Xim Vang Kindergarten and Primary School.

The volunteer group is expected to organize a gift giving event at Xim Vang Kindergarten and Primary School on September 9-10, 2024, at the beginning of the new school year.
