Speaking at the music night, journalist Ho Minh Chien - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine - shared his thoughts on the losses and damages caused by...natural disasters, storms and floodsThe incident has become a haunting memory for the people.
Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 2, in recent days, the people of Son La province have had to endure many losses from flash floods and landslides. The wrath of nature has taken away so much from the people, with many houses collapsing, roads cut off, and lives of the people here extremely difficult and challenging. The floods have also caused many educational facilities to almost cease operation. When there isn't enough food to eat or warm clothes to wear, the dream of literacy for the children in these remote areas becomes even more distant.
Witnessing such immense losses, the Editorial Board of Vietnam Family Magazine was deeply moved, prompting them to organize this charity concert.
