Quynh Nhai people look forward to National Day September 2

From early morning, Mr. Dieu Chinh Dung, hamlet 4 (Muong Giang commune, Quynh Nhai district, Son La province) took the time to clean the precious photos that captured the honorable moments of being with Uncle Ho during his working trip when he was young.

Every year, on National Day, Mr. Dung's family gathers all his children and grandchildren to sit together and reminisce about his stories and memories of being with Uncle Ho. At the same time, they express their respect to the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Activities towards the National Day September 2 have become a typical cultural feature of the people of the ethnic groups in Quynh Nhai district. On occasions like this, Mr. Dieu Chinh Xuan, Chairman of the Quynh Nhai District Veterans Association, and the people in the area together bring the red flag with yellow star and hang it in the most solemn place in front of their houses.

Mr. Xuan shared: "September 2 is also an opportunity for children and grandchildren who are working and studying far away to reunite and gather with their families. On occasions like this, I often pass on my experiences in production and labor and educate my children and grandchildren about the revolutionary spirit of our homeland and the patriotic tradition of our nation."

Ms. Dieu Thi Hanh, Hamlet 2, Muong Giang Commune, excitedly said: Every year, on the occasion of National Day September 2, my family cleans the house to celebrate Independence Day. Especially, when hanging the national flag, I feel very proud and excited to live in the independence, peace and happiness of the nation.

Quynh Nhai organizes many activities towards National Day September 2

To welcome the National Day on September 2, Quynh Nhai district previously organized exciting cultural, artistic and sports programs and activities, such as: Men's and women's volleyball tournament to celebrate the National Day on September 2; Art program with the theme "Quynh Nhai - Proud Song" to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; posting and uploading dozens of news and articles on the district's electronic information portal and broadcasting on the loudspeaker system in communes and villages reflecting on activities related to the National Day event on September 2 in the communes; planning to organize traditional folk games on the National Day...

At the same time, Quynh Nhai district is organizing the cleaning of village roads and alleys, creating a green - clean - beautiful environment. Hanging 200 national flags, stretching 10 banners, 300m of flags with slogans; trimming trees. Investing 8 billion VND to renovate the urban area, repave sidewalks, install decorative LED lighting systems in areas, central roads of the district and welcome gates. Mobilizing over 200 million from socialized sources to invest in installing decorative LED lighting systems for trees along the main roads of the district center. Over the past 79 years since the country's independence, in each historical moment, Quynh Nhai people celebrate Independence Day in many different circumstances, but deep in their hearts, everyone clearly realizes that it is an important day in the history of the nation, the day Vietnam gained independence, opening a new era, all people enjoy freedom and happiness. Celebrating Independence Day, in addition to community cultural activities, the reunion of each family has become a beautiful cultural activity of the people of the riverine ethnic groups.

With active and thoughtful preparation, on the upcoming Independence Day, Quynh Nhai district will put on a new, colorful coat.
