Culture - Tourism Week 2024:“Moc Chau - Call of love season”Taking place from August 28 to September 4, the event is an opportunity to gather and promote the beauty of culture and sports, associated with promoting tourism development; introducing the beauty of Moc Chau land and people. In particular, the event is held on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), the 72nd anniversary of the Liberation Day of Moc Chau district (November 20, 1952 - November 20, 2024).

Within the framework of the Week, two main contents take place:

- Announcement of type IV urban area; Ceremony to announce the list of national intangible cultural heritages for 03 heritages: "Rain Praying Festival" of the White Thai people, Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district; Decorative art on costumes of the Dao Tien people; Mo Muong ritual of the Muong ethnic group.

- Introducing the unique culture of ethnic groups in Moc Chau district, Son La province; introducing the world's leading regional natural destinations through the seasons of "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter", honoring national intangible cultural heritages; sharing the emotions and love stories of boys and girls of ethnic groups in Moc Chau.

Right after the opening ceremony this morning, September 1, visitors were immersed in the unique cultural space of ethnic groups with many activities such as: Experiencing the culinary culture of ethnic groups, performing community culture; performing Mong ethnic folk art; displaying beautiful photo exhibitions, games of pushing sticks, dancing, beating tu lu, pounding sticky rice cakes, throwing con... Through this occasion, Moc Chau has attracted a large number of people and tourists to experience, feel and love more the world's leading regional natural destination.
