(CPV) - For every officer, soldier, and citizen of the Truong Sa archipelago, the flag-raising ceremony is an important ritual; the image of the national flag always holds a very sacred meaning, expressing the honor and pride of the forces on the archipelago in contributing to the cause of preserving and protecting the sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.
The Spratly Islands are a frontline outpost at the northernmost point of the Fatherland. There, amidst the vast ocean, our soldiers and civilians not only strive to overcome difficulties and hardships to successfully complete all tasks, but also always look towards the mainland with unwavering faith. At the same time, they bravely and resolutely affirm and firmly defend the sovereignty of the Fatherland. On National Day, September 2nd, on all the islands of the Spratly Archipelago of Vietnam, such as Truong Sa Island, Song Tu Tay Island, Sinh Ton Island, Da Tay Island, Tien Nu Island, Co Lin Island, Da Dong A Island, Phan Vinh B Island, Son Ca Island, Da Lat Island, An Bang Island, Len Dao Island, etc., the national flag proudly flies in the wind. The image of the national flag fluttering amidst the waves of the Spratly Islands affirms the resolute will of the soldiers and civilians of the Spratly Islands, always ready to fight and protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands.

Especially on National Day, September 2nd, the image of the national flag in the Truong Sa archipelago not only clearly affirms the sovereignty of the Fatherland but also demonstrates the close bond between the sea, islands, and mainland; a resounding affirmation that Truong Sa (along with Hoang Sa) will forever be an inseparable part of our beloved Vietnam.
