Continuing the activities within the framework of the 2024 Culture and Tourism Week "Moc Chau - the call of love season", on the evening of September 1, at 8/5 Square, New Administrative Area, Moc Chau district, the art program "Dam tac doi" (Dating Night) took place. The art program “Indulge in a date night” introduced to the people and tourists a beautiful and hospitable Moc Chau plateau; the potential for economic and tourism development and the unique cultural features of the ethnic people of Moc Chau district. The art program brought a colorful symphony of sound and light, vividly expressing the unique cultural features of the ethnic people in Moc Chau district in particular and Son La province in general. The singing, the sound of the panpipe, mixed with the bustling sound of gongs in the festival night brought the audience interesting experiences about the land and people of Moc Chau plateau.
At the program, the national intangible cultural heritage certificates were announced and awarded to 3 heritages of Moc Chau district, including: The Praying for Rain Festival of the White Thai people, Muong Sang commune; Decorative art on costumes of the Dao Tien people; Mo Muong ritual of the Muong ethnic group. These are heritages that have been preserved and conserved by ethnic people through many generations and passed down in life, culture and spirit to this day. Promoting heritages is both a solution and a goal for ethnic people to preserve the traditional values and origins of the nation for future generations.
