Recently in Chieng Co commune, the City People's Committee opened a training course to improve tourism skills, with the motto of doing community tourism associated with preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups in the area.
Today, Ms. Quàng Thị Oanh and the students in the training class practiced cooking dishes with the traditional flavors of their people. They prepared the ingredients, processed the food, and presented the dishes in the most beautiful way.
Ms. Quang Thi Oanh, Ot Noi village, Chieng Co commune, Son La city:“Since I was little, I have learned how to cook from my grandmothers and mothers, and learned how to cook ethnic specialties. However, through the training class, I have learned many more culinary skills and more diverse cooking methods, thereby enriching the specialties of my ethnic group.”

Mr. Tong Van Thanh, Secretary of Ngoai village Party cell, Chieng Co commune, Son La city:“Through this training course, we have a good understanding of skills, welcoming guests, and cooking skills. We will apply the experience we have learned to contribute to the further development of community tourism in Chieng Co commune.”
With the motto "Every citizen is a tour guide", the City People's Committee pays special attention to disseminating skills on community tourism development, from which to have unique tourism ideas, contributing to building a model new countryside in the coming time.
