(tcdulichtphcm.vn) - When visiting Moc Chau, tourists enjoy the experience of pounding sticky rice cakes with the H'Mong people in the village. Although tired from pounding, the taste of the soft, fragrant cake made by the tourists themselves makes everyone even more excited.
Gazing at the sprawling grasslands, the endless cornfields...
Located approximately 200km from Hanoi, Moc Chau is an ideal destination for those who love exploring and experiencing local culture. This locality in Son La province is also famous for its majestic natural scenery and pleasant climate.

Immerse yourself in the picturesque natural surroundings.
Having fallen in love with the scenery of Moc Chau, the group of friends from the "Escape for No Time" team spent 2 days and 1 night there to visit.
“September is a wonderful time to visit Moc Chau. At this time, the sky is clear blue, the sun is golden, the clouds are white, the ‘primitive villages’ are peaceful, the rose gardens are laden with fruit, and the buckwheat flower fields stretch out…”, shared a representative from the “Escape Without a Dream” team.
As a result, the days spent in Moc Chau left the group of friends extremely satisfied with their trip. Moc Chau in September appears stunning in the eyes of tourists, a wonderful place to escape the heat with its lush green grass, trees, and hills.
“Not only that, the owner and staff of the homestay we stayed at were very thoughtful and enthusiastic. The locals at the places we visited to buy souvenirs, or the people in the ‘primitive village’ we met, were all very enthusiastic, hospitable, and friendly…,” the “Escape Without a Dream” team expressed.

Tourists love the fresh air.
Having visited many places in Moc Chau, this group of friends was particularly impressed with the "primitive village" of Hang Tau. The road to the village is quite difficult. There are many steep sections, many dirty and slippery stretches due to rain, but the scenery on both sides is very beautiful. There are vast grasslands, endless corn fields, plum orchards, and a few small, peaceful wooden houses nestled on the grass...
Upon arriving at the village, the absence of cell phone signal and Wi-Fi gives visitors the feeling of being "lost" in another world.
In a peaceful, quiet, and vibrant setting, this group of tourists happily played with the children. They played soccer, waded in the water, chased pigs, rode horses, caught ducks, and more.
According to the members of the "Escape for Nothing" team, this trip brought them much joy in life and provided a lot of positive energy for the group. Moc Chau is green, gentle, peaceful, and romantic. "We hope that tourism in Moc Chau will develop further because this place is very worthy of being chosen by young travel enthusiasts for sightseeing and relaxation," the "Escape for Nothing" team expressed.
Enjoying the experience of pounding rice cakes
Recounting their trip, they said that they took a bus from Hanoi to Moc Chau at 5 am. Once on the bus, they took advantage of the time to sleep and recharge their energy, preparing for days of exploring the beauty of Moc Chau.
Upon arriving at their destination, visitors travel to the Fairy Waterfall, then have lunch at the waterfall and experience bathing in it. In the cool, refreshing water, visitors enjoy immersing themselves in the clear blue water. Everyone relaxes their bodies, bringing a feeling of exhilaration that spreads throughout their bodies.

Experience picking persimmons right in the orchard.
In the afternoon, they traveled together to the persimmon orchard in Na Ka to take photos and experience picking persimmons right in the garden. Tourists also visited Mer Cafe, which has a view of lush green tea hills, to watch the sunset.
Afterward, the group of tourists checked into their homestay, enjoyed a hot pot dinner with Northwestern Vietnamese ingredients, and then lit a bonfire to grill corn and potatoes right there in a relaxing atmosphere.
As a new day begins, everyone recharges their energy before heading to Hang Tau "Primitive Village." Besides having fun with the children playing games like football and wading in the water, the most enjoyable experience for these tourists is pounding and shaping sticky rice cakes, a specialty of the H'Mong people in the village.
“We contacted the villagers in the village beforehand to let us participate in making sticky rice cakes, and everyone was very helpful. As a traditional H'Mông cake, sticky rice cakes are made from steamed glutinous rice, pounded until smooth, and shaped into round cakes wrapped in banana leaves while still hot. Sticky rice cakes are often used by the H'Mông people in festivals, ancestor worship ceremonies, etc.,” the “Escape” team recounted.
Tired from pounding the rice cakes, everyone was even more excited when they got to enjoy a soft, fragrant piece of rice cake pounded by the tourists themselves. At the end of the morning's experience in the village, everyone received a rice cake as a gift to take home as a souvenir.
People continued moving on to check in and take photos with the blooming buckwheat flower hills in Chieng Di. There's no need to travel to Ha Giang; the vast flower fields here are enough to make tourists want to take pictures endlessly...

To ensure visitors have a wonderful experience in Moc Chau, the "Escape Without a Plan" team has also provided some tips for everyone to be aware of and prepare thoroughly before their trip.
Specifically, the "Escape Without a Dream" team shared that the persimmon orchards of Hanh Mung and Hai Yen have large, delicious persimmons, and everyone should hurry to visit before the season ends. In addition, visitors should remember to bring a swimsuit to enjoy the cool waterfalls and wear bright-colored dresses and tops (white, yellow, pink, orange, etc.) for beautiful photos at various locations in Moc Chau.
In addition, you can prepare some snacks and sweets for the children in the "Primitive Village." Although the children are quite shy around strangers, they are very well-behaved and adorable. If you want to have lunch in the village, you can contact the ticket office at the entrance. There aren't too many items inside, but enough to serve lunch to visitors in the village's kitchen.
"One more thing to note, remember not to leave any trash in the 'primitive village,' and don't break trees or pick leaves. The village scenery is beautiful, even a single leaf contributes to its beauty, so please just admire it and don't take anything from the village...", the representative of the "Escape" team added.
