The delegation visited and encouraged the people of Phieng Pan commune; officers and soldiers of Phieng Pan Border Post. Currently, Phieng Pan commune has 6.8 km of border, adjacent to Na Toong hamlet cluster, Xieng Kho district, Hua Phan province, Lao PDR. The commune has 19 hamlets, 1,853 households with 9,276 people. In recent times, local authorities have stepped up propaganda and mobilization, guiding people to change the structure of crops and livestock in accordance with local advantages. National target programs have been effectively implemented. The material and spiritual life of the people has gradually improved. The situation of border security, political security, and social order and safety in the area has been maintained. The Border Post has coordinated with local authorities to strengthen propaganda of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State to the people in the area; Maintain strict 24/7 duty regime, regularly organize patrols to protect borders, landmarks, and guard to protect unit safety.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Dong suggested that Mai Son district continue to do well in Party building, consolidating the political system; social security policies, ethnic and religious affairs; proactively coordinate with police, military and border forces to participate in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level; promote the role of mediation teams, Party cells, and resolve problems right at the grassroots level; pay attention to supporting people to develop production, increase income, and actively participate in building the New Rural Area.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary and the working delegation presented 15 gifts to disadvantaged households in Phieng Pan commune.
