Ms. Lo Thi Thanh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union, shared: Based on the principles outlined in the Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union in 2018, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Union has concretized the "Excellent Consulting, Good Service" movement in Resolution No. 04/NQ-CĐVC dated August 16, 2019. The movement aims to provide accurate, timely, creative, and highly effective advice to the State, society, the people, workers, and businesses. "Good service" means providing thoughtful, dedicated, responsible, and effective service in accordance with assigned duties and responsibilities, satisfying citizens, businesses, and clients. Service is also understood as serving the glorious cause of the Party, serving the Fatherland and the nation. Among the 150 delegates honored this time, there are 84 delegates from ministries and sectors and 66 delegates from localities. Son La province is honored to have Comrade Pham Van Tuan, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Provincial Museum.

It is known that Mr. Pham Van Tuan has a long history of involvement in trade union work and has contributed many practical and effective suggestions and initiatives. From January 2018 to March 2023, he served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and Head of the Inspection Committee of the Son La Provincial Museum's grassroots trade union; from April 2023 to the present, he has been the Chairman of the Son La Provincial Museum's grassroots trade union. Over the past five years, he, along with the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, has coordinated with the Provincial Museum to successfully complete political tasks and state-assigned plan targets. The annual performance ratings have consistently been excellent and good; the quality of trade union activities has consistently been rated as good or better. He has received numerous commendations and awards from various levels and sectors.

The Provincial Union of Civil Servants and the Provincial Museum's grassroots union visited and presented gifts to the family of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, martyr Lo Van Gia.

In organizing fundraising activities for the trade union, in 2023 alone, the Trade Union of the Provincial Museum raised over 35 million VND, creating conditions to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, and encouraging members to compete in completing professional tasks. The agency's trade union fully participated in cultural, artistic, and sports activities organized by the higher-level trade union and achieved high awards, such as: Third place in the volleyball tournament organized by the Provincial Trade Union of Civil Servants to celebrate the successful conclusion of the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term; 1 second place and 2 third places at the first Sports Tournament of the Doi Khau Ca Trade Union Cluster in 2024; Cluster No. 3 won first place overall with 3 first places and 1 third place at the first Sports Tournament of the Civil Servants Trade Union in 2024. In addition, the Trade Union of the Provincial Museum maintained quarterly birthday celebrations for union members and mobilized social resources for tourism and sightseeing funds. In his professional capacity as Deputy Director of the unit and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Museum's Scientific Council, Mr. Tuan, along with staff, officials, and members of the branch association, actively participated in and successfully completed the acceptance of two provincial-level scientific projects in the field of archaeology: "Research and promotion of prehistoric and early historical cultural heritage in the Son La hydroelectric reservoir area" and "Research and promotion of prehistoric and early historical cultural heritage in the Hoa Binh hydroelectric reservoir area in Son La province". These projects effectively served the research and compilation of teaching materials on local history in schools and the development of thematic exhibitions at the Provincial Museum; they also provided a scientific basis for developing plans to protect and promote the cultural heritage of the Son La and Hoa Binh hydroelectric reservoir areas, contributing to the economic and tourism development of the locality.

Mr. Pham Van Tuan guided the union members of the Provincial Museum to participate in the competition launched by the higher-level trade union.

In addition, he participated in the project "Applying VR 360 virtual reality technology to tour the historical site of Son La Prison" led by the University of Information Technology and Communications; and joined the editorial board to research and collect materials to build the content of the book "Co Noi Crossroads - An Immortal Epic" led by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department...

Mr. Tuan shared: "I am very pleased that my role has been fulfilled and has met the expectations of the Trade Union organization. My ideas and suggestions to the agency have been embraced and implemented by officials, civil servants, and employees through concrete, practical, and effective actions. To better fulfill my role as a Trade Union official, in the coming time, I will continue to work with the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to research and select appropriate methods of operation based on the actual situation of the agency and unit; develop plans and organize specific activity programs linked to emulation movements and campaigns to create significant changes in the staff of officials, civil servants, and employees in the agency in terms of professional quality, spirit, and attitude of service, and to successfully and excellently complete the assigned tasks."
