Son La province was selected as Vietnam's national pavilion at the 2023 CAEXPO Fair.

One of the main contents of the CAEXPO 2023 Fair is the pavilion introducing typical cities of ASEAN countries to China with the theme "City of Charm". This year, Son La province is honored to be selected as the national pavilion of Vietnam at the Fair. This will be an opportunity for the province to introduce its socio-economic achievements, list of investment attraction projects... and orient the comprehensive and modern development of Son La province to become the economic, cultural and tourism center of the Northwest region; Support businesses of the province to seek cooperation and investment opportunities. Promote and introduce potential and strong products, key and typical products of Son La province; Connect trade between businesses of the province with Chinese partners and ASEAN countries... to expand and develop export markets. Introduce the characteristics of the homeland, culture, people, landscapes... of Son La province to Chinese tourists, ASEAN countries and the world to promote and boost tourism development in Son La province.

Participating in the Fair, the province's booth selected the general theme "Son La - Clean Agricultural Products Center" with a total booth area of ​​180m2. The booth will display and introduce 3 fields: The commercial field displays and introduces strong products that meet export standards (fruits, processed agricultural products...) along with documents, propaganda publications, unique and impressive promotional messages to introduce and promote to visitors; The investment field introduces documents, publications, images of socio-economic development achievements, project portfolios, investment attraction policies of the province, of Son La enterprises; The tourism field introduces images, videos, documents about people, typical culture of Son La province, scenic spots, tourist areas, traditional festivals and tourism products, tours of Son La province.

Up to this point, the Departments, branches and related units assigned tasks have coordinated to design and build the overall booth layout (180m2 booth of Son La province) and agreed on the booth layout, product display locations, publications, promotion and introduction of investment, trade, tourism ... of Son La province; Prepare documents, create videos, publications ... related to the province's economy, culture, tourism to serve the display, promotion and introduction at the Fair; Organize promotional activities, introduce Son La province and prepare necessary conditions for Son La province to participate in the Fair to ensure thoughtfulness, solemnity, economy and efficiency.
