District-level political centers play a crucial role in educating cadres and Party members on political theory, enhancing their revolutionary ethics, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and combating erroneous and subservient viewpoints.

Over the years, the Son La City Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the City Political Center to implement the Party's directives and resolutions, as well as the Central and Provincial Party Committee's guidelines and training programs on political theory education, creating unity in awareness and action among all cadres and Party members in the city.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing the current state of political theory education and some solutions for improving its quality; integrating content on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints into the intermediate-level political theory program; some solutions to help part-time lecturers improve the quality of teaching at the City Political Center; and applying the knowledge acquired through research, study, and training at the City Political Center to practical work at the local level for grassroots officials.

The delegates also proposed including some articles by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the curriculum of training courses at district-level Political Centers; improving the effectiveness of planning and organizing practical research for trainees in training courses at Political Centers; the current situation and solutions to improve the quality of recruitment and training courses at Political Centers; some solutions to overcome the reluctance and laziness in studying political theory among some cadres and Party members; and reforming and improving the quality of testing and evaluating the results of political theory study…

The Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee delivered a speech at the workshop.

Speaking at the seminar, the City Party Committee leader requested the City Political Center to incorporate the opinions and suggestions from the seminar, improve the quality of political theory training and education; innovate methods, apply science and technology, and enhance the effectiveness of integrating content on protecting the Party's ideological foundation. He also requested the application of Ho Chi Minh's viewpoints and thoughts, as well as works and articles on socialist theory and the path to socialism by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, into teaching. Furthermore, he urged continued innovation and improvement in the quality of lecturers and effective advisory work for the Party Committee on organizing training and education for cadres and Party members.
