Workshop on some solutions to improve the quality of training and fostering political theory.

District-level political centers play an important role in political theory education, improving revolutionary ethics for cadres and party members, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

Over the past years, Son La City Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the City Political Center to implement Party directives and resolutions, instructions, training and fostering programs of the Central Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on political theory education, creating unity in perception and action among all cadres and Party members of the City.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing the work of political theory education - current situation, some solutions to improve quality; integrating the content of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the Intermediate Political Theory program; some solutions to help part-time lecturers improve the quality of teaching at the City Political Center; applying the knowledge acquired through research, study and training at the City Political Center of grassroots cadres into practical work in the locality.

Delegates also proposed to include some articles of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in teaching at training and fostering classes at the district-level Political Center; improve the effectiveness of planning to organize practical research for students of training and fostering classes at the Political Center; the current situation and solutions to improve the quality of student recruitment and opening of training classes at the Political Center; some solutions to overcome the current situation of reluctance to study and laziness in studying political theory among a number of cadres and party members; innovate and improve the quality of testing and evaluating the results of studying political theory...

Speaking at the Workshop, the City Party Committee leader requested the City Political Center to absorb the opinions presented at the Workshop, improve the quality of training and fostering political theory; innovate methods, apply science and technology, improve the effectiveness of integrating the content of protecting the Party's ideological foundation. Apply the viewpoints and thoughts of Ho Chi Minh, works and articles on socialist theory and the path to socialism of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong into teaching. Continue to innovate and improve the quality of lecturers and do a good job of advising the Party Committee on organizing training and fostering for cadres and Party members.
