On September 23rd, at Regiment 754, Son La province organized a training course and experience exchange on military medicine and technical work for the Military Commands of 9 provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in 2024. Attending the opening ceremony was Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

This training course was divided into three classes: military medicine, military equipment, and vehicle and machinery operations. The classes were held at Military Hospital 6, Regiment 754, and Son La College of Technology.
Over six days (from September 23-28), the trainees received training and exchanged experiences on: techniques for recording and reading electrocardiograms; guidance on using equipment in traditional medicine and rehabilitation; initial emergency care and management of anaphylaxis; operation and maintenance of new generation vehicles and existing vehicles at the unit; inspection and repair of minor damage to military vehicles; management and organization of weapons, equipment, and ammunition at the unit…
Comrade Trang Thi Xuan delivered a speech at the opening of the training course.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Trang Thi Xuan requested the Provincial Military Command to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to ensure the conditions for cadres from the provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to gain practical experience at facilities and units in the province. She also requested the selection and assignment of competent, qualified, and experienced instructors to participate in the training. Furthermore, she called for the development of a practical and relevant training program tailored to the conditions of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
