Speaking at the meeting to clarify the content and program, Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang stated: On July 9, 2024, the Politburo issued Decision 1352-QĐNS/TW on the establishment of a delegation to inspect the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party by the Standing Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee. This is an important basis for the locality to prepare the documents for the 16th Congress of the Son La Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; it is also an opportunity to provide and supplement lessons learned, methods of resolving and organizing the implementation of theoretical and practical issues, serving the preparation of the documents for the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang requested that Son La province focus on leveraging its intellect and providing objective information on the context of implementing the Resolution under the impact of epidemics and natural disasters; clearly stating the difficulties, shortcomings, and obstacles to identify issues that need to be addressed during implementation. Along with that, Son La needs to comprehensively and fully assess all areas of Party building, personnel work, economy - culture - society, science - technology, and foreign affairs; highlighting the relationship between the thorough understanding, implementation, and organization of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Son La Provincial Party Congress, action programs, specialized resolutions, and implementation projects...

At the meeting, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Son La Provincial People's Committee, Hoang Quoc Khanh, reported to the inspection team on the preparation of documents and conditions to facilitate the inspection team's work according to the plan; and the progress of preparations for the Party Congresses at all levels, leading up to the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
