The "Beautiful City" exhibition area at the 20th China - ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2023) of Son La province, representing Vietnam, has the theme "Son La - Center of Clean Agricultural Products".

In preparation for participating in the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2023), the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Son La province have focused on directing, arranging all the best resources and closely coordinating with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in preparing to organize the staging of the "Beautiful City" Exhibition Area and participate in a series of events, specifically: The People's Committee of Son La province has issued a Plan assigning departments, branches and units to proactively coordinate with units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and related units to advise on preparing the necessary conditions to successfully organize the Son La Province Exhibition Area to ensure solemnity, attractiveness and impression, bearing the characteristics of Son La province. Select and prepare artistic performances imbued with the identity and unique characteristics of the ethnic groups of Son La province. Mobilizing enterprises and cooperatives in the province to participate, including 13 large-scale production and trading enterprises directly participating in the Fair with 52 most typical products of Son La province displayed and introduced, especially processed agricultural products with potential and advantages of the province such as: Coffee, cassava starch, tea, longan; processed agricultural products of DOVECO Son La Agricultural Processing Center; fresh fruit products (longan, banana, passion fruit, dragon fruit), ...

Son La province displays and introduces products in 03 fields.

The exhibition area "Beautiful City", Son La province will display and introduce 3 fields including: Investment field introduces achievements in socio-economic development, investment potential and strengths, investment attraction portfolio and investment attraction policies of Son La province; Tourism field introduces images and videos about people, typical culture of Son La province, scenic spots, tourist areas, traditional festivals and tourism products, tours of Son La province; Trade field, introduces clean agricultural products, displays 04 fresh fruit products (mango, longan, dragon fruit, passion fruit), 52 processed agricultural products (coffee, tea, tapioca starch, sugar, longan...) and propaganda documents, publications, unique and impressive promotional messages to introduce to visitors.

Typical products of Son La province were beautifully displayed at the "Beautiful City" Exhibition Area.

Up to now, Son La province has fully prepared products, publications and foreign gifts for delegates from countries visiting the Exhibition Area (including: tea, coffee, milk cake, dried mango, canned pineapple, canned corn, longan, Piêu scarves) to transfer to Nanning city, Guangxi, China and complete the display, promotion and introduction at the Exhibition Area.

Through participating in the CAEXPO 2023 Fair, Son La province wishes to convey the message of a beautiful land with many scenic spots, rich in cultural identity, with development potential and being the "Clean Agricultural Products Center" of Vietnam, ready to cooperate and develop with domestic and foreign partners in general, partners from China and ASEAN countries in particular.
