According to the report presented at the meeting, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Phenomena has advised the Provincial Party Standing Committee to continue leading, directing, and implementing seriously and effectively the documents of the Central Government and the province. It has directed Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, and units to effectively implement measures to prevent corruption and negative phenomena. It has reviewed and issued documents, and led and directed the implementation in areas prone to corruption and negative phenomena. It has directed the synchronized integration of anti-corruption and negative phenomenon prevention and control with Party building and rectification; focusing on political and ideological education for cadres, Party members, and the people. It has strengthened inspection, supervision, investigation, and the handling of complaints and denunciations, thereby promptly rectifying shortcomings and violations.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department - the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee - has coordinated with member agencies to advise, review, and propose the addition of cases and incidents under the Steering Committee's monitoring and direction; and to expedite the investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of sentences in corruption and economic cases, especially those that are attracting public attention.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee members also discussed and commented on the draft report on the results of the provincial Steering Committee's anti-corruption and anti-negative practices prevention and control efforts for the first nine months of 2024; the progress report on cases and incidents under the Steering Committee's monitoring and direction; and the report on incorporating feedback into the draft regulations of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on power control, anti-corruption and anti-negative practices in investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments in the province.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Phenomena, requested that the members of the Steering Committee continue to seriously implement the directives of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negative phenomena. He also urged them to promptly and effectively advise, supervise, and monitor the handling of cases and incidents under the Provincial Steering Committee's purview. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to strengthen the dissemination of legal information and education, fostering consensus and support among cadres, Party members, and the people regarding the prevention and fight against corruption and negative phenomena.
