(baosonla.gov.vn) - On September 29th, at the Son La Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, the province's Taekwondo clubs held a belt promotion exam in accordance with the regulations of the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation.

This promotion exam was attended by 211 martial arts students aged 6-17 from the Tiger Taekwondo Club and other Taekwondo clubs in Phu Yen City and Phu Yen District. During the exam, the students had to perform the following tasks: basic hand techniques, basic foot techniques, forms, three-step sparring, competitive sparring, and physical fitness… to upgrade their belt from level 7 (white belt) to level 1 (red belt).

The exam is organized to test and evaluate the professional level of Taekwondo practitioners in the province. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center to discover and select talented individuals to train and compete in provincial and national tournaments; to select talents for the province's professional sports team; and to encourage the practice of sports and improve the health of students.
