The city's Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) is operating efficiently.
Currently, the Son La Provincial Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) is built on a standardized basis, integrating basic data for nine management subsystems, including systems for managing socio-economic indicators, budget, public administration, citizen feedback and suggestions, electronic document management, education, tourism information, accommodation, healthcare, security cameras, and transportation. The provincial IOC is connected to the national IOC data system, providing an overview of all areas of socio-economic development.
Data from the nine aforementioned sectors is updated before 5 PM daily. The data is compiled and provided to the IOC system by departments and agencies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in providing information to support the provincial People's Committee's management and connecting the province's IOC with the national database. The automatic data update demonstrates the ability to connect and share diverse, accurate, and real-time data. The Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) has become a shared data repository for the entire province.
Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, said: To date, the Provincial Intelligent Operations Center has configured 38 units onto the provincial IOC system, and the People's Committees of Song Ma City and Song Ma District have put their local IOC centers into trial operation, connecting to the provincial IOC system. The data entry units have become stable; including 6 units entering data daily, 22 units entering monthly, 10 units entering quarterly, 5 units entering data every 6 months and 1 year, and 21 units entering data annually.
Son La City is the first district-level administrative unit in the province to put a smart operation center into operation, following the provincial-level smart operation center. With the goal of building a smart city to improve the lives of its citizens, the city's smart operation center has now integrated and connected existing information systems from various departments and agencies.
Mr. Tran Cong Chinh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, said: In recent years, the city has promoted the application of information technology in administrative reform and daily work processing, gradually building an e-government system, improving the efficiency of data integration and use, and creating intelligent interaction in e-government management. In particular, the city's Smart Operations Center has effectively served the leadership and management work. Periodically, departments and specialized units coordinate and implement the construction of tables, report templates, and data updates in accordance with the implementation progress of provincial departments and agencies. Economic and social data is fully updated and interconnected with the province's Smart Operations Center.
The commissioning of the IOC Center demonstrates the determination of the entire political system in building a government that serves and is for the people. Through the IOC system, interaction between citizens and the government will also be increased, contributing to enhanced satisfaction levels of citizens and businesses with government operations.
