The City's Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) operates efficiently.

Currently, the Son La Province IOC Smart Operation Center is built to standardize and integrate basic data for 9 management subsystems, including systems for managing socio-economic indicators, budget, public administration, reflecting people's recommendations, managing the fields of electronic documents, education, tourism information, accommodation, healthcare, security cameras and traffic. The province's IOC Center is connected to the national IOC data system, reflecting an overview of all areas of socio-economic development.

Data of the above 9 fields is updated before 5:00 p.m. every day. The data is compiled by departments, branches and sectors and provided to the IOC system to ensure correct, sufficient and accurate data; timely provision of data information to serve the direction and operation of the Provincial People's Committee and connect the provincial IOC with the national database. Automatic data updates demonstrate the ability to connect and share diverse, accurate and timely data. The IOC Smart Operations Center has become a shared data warehouse for the entire province.

Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, said: Up to now, the Provincial Smart Operation Center has configured 38 units to the provincial IOC system and the City People's Committee and Song Ma District have put the local IOC Center into trial operation to connect to the provincial IOC system. The units entering data into the system have stabilized; of which, 6 units enter data daily, 22 units enter data monthly, 10 units enter data quarterly, 5 units enter data every 6 months and 1 year, and 21 units enter data annually.

Son La City is the first district-level administrative unit in the province to put a smart operation center into operation after the provincial smart operation center. With the goal of building a smart city to improve the lives of people, up to now, the City's smart operation center has integrated and connected existing information systems of departments and branches.

Mr. Tran Cong Chinh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, said: In recent years, the City has promoted the application of information technology in administrative reform, handling daily work, gradually building an e-government system, improving the efficiency of integrating data use, creating smart interactions in e-government management. In particular, the City's Smart Operations Center has effectively served the direction and operation work. Periodically, departments, offices, and specialized units coordinate and implement the construction of a system of tables, report templates, and update data in accordance with the implementation progress of the departments, offices, and branches of the province. Data on the socio-economic situation is fully updated and connected with the Smart Operations Center of the province.

The operation of the IOC Center demonstrates the determination of the entire political system in building a government that serves the people and is for the people. Through the IOC system, it will also help increase interaction between the people and the government, contributing to increasing the level of satisfaction of the people and businesses with the activities of the government.
