Comrade Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, reported and received comments on the draft: Report of the Provincial Party Committee on the results of leadership in implementing tasks in the first 9 months, key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2024; Subcommittee on Documents on approving the detailed outline of the Political Report, Review Report of the Provincial Party Committee, term XV, to be submitted to the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the implementation and disbursement of the public investment capital plan for 9 months, tasks and solutions for the last 3 months of 2024; work on prevention, response, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the province.

In the past 9 months, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the efforts and determination of the entire political system, Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province, the socio-economic, defense, security and foreign affairs situation of the province has been basically stable and achieved many positive results.

The total product in the province is estimated at 25,706 billion VND, up 7.2% over the same period last year. The budget revenue in the area is estimated at over 2,740 billion VND; disbursement of public investment capital is 1,972 billion VND. The value of exported goods is 137.6 million USD, up 7.6% over the same period last year; the industrial production index of the whole industry increased by 27% over the same period last year. Service and tourism activities in the area continue to grow well. The cultural and social fields have many positive changes; social security and social protection policies are implemented promptly; political security, social order and safety are maintained; foreign affairs are strengthened.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh requested the Party delegations, Party executive committees, district Party committees, city Party committees, and affiliated Party committees to focus on directing the drastic implementation of solutions to increase revenue, save budget expenditures, accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital, and implement national target programs. Speed ​​up the progress and implementation of the investment project to build the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway; strengthen the management of planning, land, construction order, resources, and minerals associated with environmental protection. Implement well the plans and measures to prevent, combat, respond to, mitigate and overcome damage caused by natural disasters; focus on stabilizing the lives and production of people affected by floods.

At the same time, issue and well implement the plan to organize activities to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the founding of the province, activities to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Provincial Party Committee's traditional day, and the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Son La Prison Party Cell. Continue to support the elimination of temporary houses for poor households; mobilize support and allocate resources to mobilize support for people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the province. Implement the arrangement of administrative units at the district and commune levels for the period 2023-2030. Focus on implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; organize a preliminary review and assessment of a number of resolutions and projects of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to serve the drafting of documents for the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 as planned.
