Conference on Solutions to promote digital transformation for businesses and people

With the viewpoint of taking people and businesses as the center of service and taking people and businesses' satisfaction as a measure to evaluate operational efficiency, the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Steering Committee for Digital Transformation have directed strongly, along with the determination and efforts of Party committees, authorities at all levels and sectors to always create the best support conditions to carry out Digital Transformation tasks, support businesses, organizations, and citizens in Digital Transformation to promote the development of digital economy and digital society; especially improving the quality of online public service provision, issuing policies to support businesses in implementing Digital Transformation. This conference helps businesses, cooperatives and people in the province better understand the meaning and importance of digital transformation, digital economy, digital society, and digital citizens for production, business, development of businesses, cooperatives and people's lives.

The conference listened to 5 units in the TOP of Information Technology Companies and Banks in Vietnam that are actively participating in the National Digital Transformation program with many platforms, solutions, and digital services sharing programs and products to support the promotion of Digital Transformation in Son La province in the coming time, such as: Digital platform for Digital Transformation of small and medium enterprises, business households, cooperatives to promote digital economic development, remote digital signature solution to promote digital citizens; e-commerce platform solution to promote digital economy, digital society; Digital transformation for businesses and individuals in the field of finance, non-cash payment; introduction of VNPT's OneSME solution; introduction of Viettel's electronic contract solution - Vcontract. By September 20, Son La province had over 3,400 enterprises with a total registered capital of 53,523 billion VND. In 9 months, the Department of Planning and Investment received and processed 1,784 business registration applications, an increase of 35% over the same period in 2022 with a total registered capital of nearly 1,610 billion VND (The number of applications registered online was 1,780 applications, accounting for 99%). The whole province has 861 cooperatives in operation, in 9 months, 72 new cooperatives were established, an increase of 8.3% over the same period in 2022. Enterprises and cooperatives are continuing to make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of Son La province, in particular, the state budget revenue accounts for 80% or more, creating thousands of jobs for workers, actively participating in social security activities such as: eliminating temporary houses, giving health insurance cards, awarding scholarships, building other public welfare works... in the province. At this conference, the Department of Information and Communications of Son La province and 5 units: VNPT Son La, Viettel Son La, MISA Joint Stock Company, Vibook Vietnam Digital Technology Corporation Joint Stock Company, BIDV Bank Son La branch signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to promote digital transformation of enterprises in Son La province with digital technology enterprises to promote the use of digital signatures for people with public digital signatures.

The conference on "Solutions to promote Digital Transformation for businesses and people in Son La province in 2023" is the beginning of a series of events in response to National Digital Transformation Day - October 10, 2023 and Son La Province Digital Transformation Year. In his concluding remarks at the conference, comrade Dang Ngoc Hau suggested that immediately after this conference, the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee assign the Department of Information and Communications to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, the Provincial Cooperative Union, the Provincial Business Association, and the Provincial Tourism Association to continue advising on the implementation of programs and activities to promote businesses, cooperatives and people to implement digital transformation, focusing on implementing key tasks: Continue to focus on deploying monitoring and operating systems at the Provincial Smart Operations Center; increase the rate of administrative procedure records processed online; build a shared data warehouse of the province and specialized databases; Strive for 100% of shared databases to be connected and shared across the province; fiber optic broadband network infrastructure to cover over 80% of households and 100% of communes; universalize high-speed mobile network services (4G) and smart mobile phones; the rate of population with electronic payment accounts is over 50%; update, interconnect, and connect digital platforms, national databases, and specialized databases to integrate and share data information to serve the direction and administration of the Government and authorities at all levels to resolve administrative procedures to serve people and businesses...
