At the conference, leaders from the Department of Information and Communications and other departments and agencies of Son La province exchanged experiences in digital transformation with a delegation from the Information Technology Center under the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province. Thua Thien Hue is one of the leading localities nationwide in national digital transformation, notably in selecting a model suitable to development trends. With the determined efforts of the government, Thua Thien Hue province has gradually created a typical provincial-level digital transformation model, aiming to benefit the people and businesses, promote socio-economic development of the locality, and improve the effectiveness of leadership at all levels of Party committees and management at all levels, while ensuring national defense, security, social order and safety, and the sustainable development of the province.

Son La province requested the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Information Technology Center to research and sign a cooperation agreement on the construction and development of digital transformation between the two localities. This includes coordinating and advising Son La province on a digital transformation plan for the period 2025-2030 with a vision to 2035. The agreement also includes consulting on the implementation of digital transformation in the fields of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Agriculture and Rural Development; and Transportation, focusing on models, methods, operational personnel, and implementation costs. Furthermore, it proposes introducing and transferring digital platforms related to various sectors and fields that the Information Technology Center is developing and applying in Thua Thien Hue province, resulting in improved service for citizens and businesses. Simultaneously, the agreement will focus on software development, training support, and human resource development within Son La province's state agencies.
