The Púng Hiéng Festival (New Year's Festival) is the biggest ritual of the Dao Tien people in Moc Chau, Son La province. It holds significant importance in the ethnic group's religious life, highlighting the role of the clan leader and helping to unite members of the clan and community.
The competition involved 17 teams with 162 members, including members of the Inspection Committees of district and city Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee, and members of the Inspection Committees of grassroots Party Committees; and officials and civil servants of the Inspection Committees of district and city Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee. The teams participated in a professional document review and a live stage performance section, consisting of three parts: greetings, knowledge, and handling situations related to the Party's inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement work. The 2024 Son La Province Excellent Inspection Cadre Competition is a practical emulation activity aimed at creating positive changes in awareness, raising the sense of responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, and cadres and Party members regarding the position and role of the Party's inspection, supervision, and disciplinary work; and improving the knowledge, skills, and professional expertise of inspection cadres at all levels within the provincial Party organization. This is also an opportunity to identify and commend outstanding inspection officers, creating opportunities for inspection officers to interact, learn, and exchange experiences on professional skills, theory, and practice in inspection and supervision work, enhancing leadership capacity and the ability to handle real-life situations, contributing to the successful fulfillment of assigned tasks. At the same time, it is an opportunity for the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and inspection commissions at all levels to identify and supplement leadership solutions for inspection and supervision work and Party building work in localities and units, contributing to enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members; building a clean and strong provincial Party committee; and meeting the requirements of political tasks in the new situation.
The 2024 Son La Province Excellent Inspection Officer Competition was held over two days, October 12-13.
