Pung Hieng Festival (Summer Festival) is the biggest ritual of the Dao Tien people in Moc Chau, Son La province. It has an important meaning in the ethnic religious activities, promoting the role of the clan leader, helping to unite members of the clan and community.
The competition has 17 teams, with 162 members who are members of the Inspection Committee of the District Party Committee, City Party Committee, Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee and members of the Inspection Committee of the grassroots Party Committee; cadres and civil servants of the Inspection Committee of the District Party Committee, City Party Committee, and Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee. The teams will participate in the Professional Profile Competition and the Live Competition on stage, with 3 competitions: Greeting, understanding and handling situations regarding the inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work of the Party. The 2024 Son La Provincial Excellent Inspection Cadre Competition is a practical emulation activity to create a positive change in awareness, raise the sense of responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members about the position and role of the inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party; improve knowledge, skills and professional skills for inspection cadres at all levels in the Provincial Party Committee. This is also an opportunity to discover and commend outstanding inspection officers, creating opportunities for inspection officers to exchange, learn, and share experiences in professional, theoretical and practical aspects of inspection and supervision work, improve leadership capacity, ability to handle real-life situations, and contribute to the successful implementation of assigned tasks. At the same time, it is an opportunity for the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and Inspection Committees at all levels to discover and supplement leadership solutions on inspection and supervision work and lead Party building work in localities and units, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members; building a clean and strong Provincial Party Committee; meeting the requirements of political tasks in the new situation.
