The Bac Yen District Party Committee has implemented the Bac Yen District Tourism Development Project for the 2021-2025 period, with the goal of creating a destination image and tourism brand with the characteristics of Bac Yen District; developing tourism in the direction of green and sustainable tourism, associated with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values; connecting tourism with key tourist areas of the province and the country and being recognized as a provincial-level tourist area.

Comrade Do Van Xiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Head of the District Tourism Development Steering Committee, said: The district focuses on surveying and comprehensively assessing tourism potential to clearly identify strengths; focusing on key investments, building distinct tourism products. Proposing to the province to invest in and upgrade main traffic routes, increase connectivity; attracting investment resources to develop infrastructure at destinations selectively, centrally, in order of priority to have a suitable investment roadmap. Promoting and introducing tourism potential and strengths; linking with districts inside and outside the province to build inter-district and inter-provincial tours and routes to serve tourists.

In addition, the district focuses on preserving and maintaining traditional crafts, such as forging, making panpipes, brewing Hang Chu wine of the Mong people, weaving bamboo and rattan of the Muong and Thai people; recreating the village festivals of the Thai ethnic group in Pac Nga commune; praying for a good harvest of the Dao ethnic group in Phieng Con commune... Maintaining the organization of the Cultural and Sports Festival of Hang Chu commune, Chieng Sai commune and the boat racing festival of Song Pe commune, Thai xoe festival of Muong Khoa commune, Lotus Lake of Hua Nhan commune, Golden Season of Xim Vang commune, the festival in the hometown of A Phu's wife... Developing typical products of the district, with 4 OCOP products achieving 4 stars, 7 OCOP products achieving 3 stars and 3 agricultural products recognized with the brands "Son Tra Apple - Son La", "Ta Xua Bac Yen Tea" and "Hang Chu Wine"...

In October, Mr. Phung Van Hieu, Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province, had the opportunity to visit Ta Xua commune with a group of friends, 14 km from Bac Yen town, about 1,600m above sea level, with majestic natural scenery and cool climate, known as the "Cloud hunting paradise" of the Northwest region. From the windy peak of Ta Xua, you can see valleys, villages, and terraced fields hidden in the sea of ​​white clouds. The "check-in" spots of Ta Xua Cloud Paradise, the windy peak, the lonely tree, Lac Da cape, Ca Heo cape... are always bustling with tourists.

Besides, the fresh, quiet air, majestic and wild scenery bring a feeling of comfort, certainly the highlands of Bac Yen will be a destination that we will return to many times.

Implementing the motto "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together", Bac Yen district has signed a memorandum of understanding with Muong La district and Mu Cang Chai, Tram Tau, Van Chan districts, Yen Bai province on cooperation in the fields of agricultural development, tourism, associated with preserving national culture. From 2023 to present, Bac Yen district has welcomed over 222 thousand visitors, with revenue reaching 124.4 billion VND. Bac Yen district focuses on tourism management, the district coordinates with the Department of Construction to organize public consultation on the Master Plan for Ta Xua tourist area and neighboring areas, ensuring that the planning is suitable for reality and in accordance with regulations.
