At the meeting, Son La Provincial Police and Hua Phan Police held talks to evaluate and discuss security and order work from the beginning of 2024 to present.

Based on the signed minutes, the police of the two provinces have strengthened close cooperation and coordination in the fight against plots and sabotage activities of hostile forces, strengthened the fight against all types of crimes, especially drug crimes, and resolved issues related to security and order, and border security between the provinces.

Notably, they have coordinated to investigate, verify, and discover many large drug trafficking routes across the border; maintained good experience exchange in ensuring security and order - border security; regularly educated and propagated to people on both sides of the border to properly implement the Border Regulation Agreement, closely coordinated, and promptly resolved issues arising in each locality, contributing to building, consolidating, and maintaining stability and security and order in the region.

On this occasion, the Police of the two provinces signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to ensure security and order in 2025; Son La Provincial Police presented 200 million VND and 2 tons of rice to Hua Phan Provincial Police.
