Currently, the administrative procedure information system of Son La province has been interconnected and synchronized at all three levels: province, district, and commune. This system has connected and shared data with the National Public Service Portal, and is continuously and fully connected with the EMC system.
The province has integrated 573 online public services onto the National Public Service Portal, including 326 provincial-level services, 188 district-level services, and 59 commune-level services. The rate of digitally signed documents exchanged between agencies through the document management and operational software system has reached 97%.
The province's online public services have a 92% rate of applications processed online, with 86% of those applications being submitted online. The digitization of documents has reached 94%, while the digitization of administrative procedure results has reached 72%.
Notably, the percentage of online payment transactions reached 80%.Son La ProvinceThe authorities have consistently directed units to maintain preventive measures and promptly detect activities that exploit cyberspace to infringe upon national security, and no complex incidents have been recorded so far.
Alongside improving the quality of public administrative services, the province has been creating favorable conditions for people and businesses, especially in rural areas, in carrying out administrative procedures, contributing to promoting digital transformation in building new rural areas.

Furthermore, cooperatives are gradually applying software and digital transformation solutions in the implementation and management of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program. The process of digitization and building a synchronized database has helped manage raw material area codes and trace the origin of agricultural products through applications such as traceability systems and GIS technology in forest management and protection.
Software such as the electronic logbook farmdiary.online is being implemented to support forest management and monitoring. The province is also promoting the application of online and virtual reality technologies to advertise and promote agricultural products, supporting the development of e-commerce. 42 businesses and cooperatives have received support in promoting their products, with 52 typical agricultural products featured on the Son La Province Business and Agricultural Products Information Portal.
75 products from 5 businesses and cooperatives have met export standards and have been listed on international e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba.com, Agrim, and EC. Numerous communication tools have been developed to support businesses and cooperatives in finding partners through digital platforms like YouTube and Google Adwords. Currently, the number of Son La agricultural products on e-commerce platforms has reached 2,466, with a total of nearly 50,000 transactions.
Aiming to build smart new rural areas, Son La province will continue to invest in and improve technological infrastructure, and promote digital government in building advanced new rural areas. The development of an interconnected and synchronized online public service system from the provincial to the commune level will be prioritized, along with improving the quality of services for the people.
