The Son La Provincial delegation held a working meeting with the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (Vincofa) and INTIMEX Group.

Within the framework of the program, the Son La Provincial Delegation worked with the Chairman of VICOFA, the General Director of SIMEXCO Company, INTIMEX Group, Trung Nguyen Group, and Vinh Hiep L'amant Cafe Company. During these meetings, Son La province provided information and reports on the plan to organize the first Son La Coffee Festival in 2023 and invited the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association and its member businesses and partners to participate in and sponsor the festival's activities.

According to the plan, Son La province will organize the first Coffee Festival at the end of October 2023 with many activities, such as: the "Son La Coffee" exhibition; a seminar on improving the quality of Son La coffee; a conference on connecting and trading coffee products; an exhibition of beautiful photos of Son La coffee; a Farmers' Talent Competition; a Coffee Gala Night; organizing experiential and exploratory coffee tourism tours; and inaugurating coffee projects... To date, the province is urgently preparing the best conditions to ensure the successful organization of the festival.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong requested the Chairman of the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association to cooperate with the province in organizing the first Son La Coffee Festival in 2023; to support the province in inviting international delegations and corporations to attend and promote investment, connect trade, develop tourism, introduce the unique image of coffee culture, people, potential and strengths of Son La province; and to connect and invite members of the Association to participate in exhibitions and promotions in the series of events at the Son La Coffee Festival...

Representatives of the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association affirmed their readiness to support Son La province in successfully organizing the first Coffee Festival in 2023. They also requested that Son La province develop a specific plan to ensure the Son La Coffee Festival has its own unique cultural identity, focusing on honoring coffee growers; for the exhibition, the Organizing Committee should choose coffee as the main product; and to prepare well for welcoming domestic and international delegations.
