(baosonla.vn) - On October 28th, the Department of Information and Communications organized a training course on information and communication work, including external information, for officials working in external information in border areas of Son La province. This is part of Sub-project 1, Project 10, of the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Son La province in 2024.
The training course was attended by over 60 participants, including officials and leaders in charge of policy communication, external information, and human rights from departments, agencies, districts, and cities; and officers from the Provincial Police and the Provincial Border Guard Command assigned to concurrently carry out external information and human rights work in border areas.

The training course took place over two days (October 28th and 29th), during which participants were introduced to four topics: the core contents of policy communication work and issues to note in leadership and guidance in implementing Directive No. 07/CT-TTg dated March 21, 2023, of the Prime Minister on strengthening policy communication work; Decision No. 407/QD-TTg dated March 30, 2022, of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Organizing policy communication with significant social impact in the process of drafting legal documents in the period 2022 - 2027"; and guidance on policy communication skills and information handling when conducting policy communication for people in ethnic minority areas, mountainous regions, remote areas, and border areas. Some new points of Government Resolution No. 47/NQ-CP on the Government's Action Program until 2030 to implement Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to improve the quality and effectiveness of external information work in the new situation. Guidance on communicating and promoting the image of the nation and localities in a new way.

Through this training course, participants will gain more information and knowledge about propaganda and external communication activities, which they can effectively apply in their practical work at their units and localities, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and developing border.
