(sotttt.sonla.gov.vn) - On October 28, 2024, the Department of Information and Communications organized a training conference to enhance professional skills in information and communication work, and external information for officials working in external information in border areas under the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous regions in 2024.
The training course was attended by over 60 delegates, including leaders of border commune People's Committees; staff of border commune radio stations; staff in charge of writing news articles and editing border commune electronic information pages; and leaders and officers of the Border Guard assigned to concurrently carry out external information work at border guard posts and border gates.

During the two-day training course from October 28th to 29th, 2024, the trainees received instruction from lecturers on four topics: Regulations on external information activities in land border areas; Some basic contents on grassroots information activities at the commune level; How to write news articles for radio programs and electronic information pages; Introduction and guidance on using radio stations applying information and telecommunication technology to serve propaganda in border communes.

Through the Conference, delegates were able to supplement and update their knowledge in the process of implementing the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. This will enhance the role, position, and responsibility of leaders in managing and organizing implementation, while striving to achieve the planned goals and key tasks at the local level.
