The training course was attended by over 60 delegates, including leaders of the People's Committees of border communes; officers of the border commune radio station; officers in charge of writing news articles and editing the border commune's electronic information pages; leaders and officers of the Border Guard assigned to concurrently carry out foreign information work at border posts and border gates.

During the 2-day training course from October 28 to 29, 2024, the trainees were taught by lecturers about the content of 4 topics: Regulations on foreign information activities in land border areas; Some basic contents on grassroots information activities at the commune level; How to write news and articles for radio programs and electronic information pages; Introduction and instructions on using radio stations applying information and telecommunications technology to serve propaganda in border communes.

Through the Conference, delegates were supplemented and updated with knowledge in the process of implementing the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas. Thereby promoting the role, position and responsibility of the leaders in management, organization and implementation, while striving to complete the plan goals and key tasks in the locality.
