DAI YEM WATERFALL - A ROMANTIC LANDSCAPE IN THE MIDDLE OF MOC CHAU PLATEAU
Dai Yem Waterfall is located in Vat village, Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province. In addition to the name Dai Yem, the waterfall also has other names such as Nang waterfall or Ban Vat waterfall. This waterfall is located on Vat stream, originating from two streams Bo Co Lam and Bo Ta Chau at the beginning of Vat village. The stream winds, flows for 5 km, then merges with Bo Sap stream and limestone mountains and falls down to form a majestic waterfall.
With a height of about 100m and divided into 2 branches, the upper waterfall is about 4000m2 wide with 9 floors symbolizing 9 levels of love and the lower waterfall is somewhat smaller with about 300m2 with 3 waterfall clusters. The two waterfall clusters flow day and night creating a picture with a soft pink strip surrounding the giant mountain. Evoking a romantic, impressive and extremely majestic feeling.
