(baosonla.vn) - On November 7th, at the Chieng Khuong International Border Gate in Song Ma district, Mr. Le Dinh Phong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province, along with a delegation, handed over financial assistance to Hua Phan province (Lao People's Democratic Republic) to help overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The delegation handed over 300,000,000 Lao Kip in aid from the Son La Provincial Relief Campaign Committee to Hua Phan province to help overcome the damage caused by natural disasters. Comrade Le Dinh Phong expressed his deep sympathy for the damage caused by natural disasters in Hua Phan province recently and hoped that Hua Phan province would soon overcome the difficulties and stabilize the lives and production of its people.
Representatives from Hua Phan province expressed their deep gratitude to the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province for their encouragement and support in overcoming the damage. They also wished that the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general, and between Hua Phan province and Son La province in particular, would remain strong and enduring.
