Accordingly, the Department of Science and Technology of Son La province has implemented 36 tasks to build and develop brands for key products bearing the province's geographical names. The province currently has 29 products granted protection certificates. Typical products include: Son La coffee, Moc Chau Shan Tuyet tea, Yen Chau district's round mango, Ta Xua Bac Yen tea, Son La honey, Thuan Chau taro... and 23 agricultural products protected under the form of certified trademarks. Of which, Moc Chau Shan Tuyet tea and Yen Chau round mango have been protected in the Thai and European markets.
